Kayaking the pristine waters of Kachemak Bay is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Rick is the most seasoned kayak guide in Kachemak Bay and personally guides all our tours. In our 25+ years of operation no one has ever tipped over. In addition to providing all the gear, kayaks and lunch for a safe, leisurely and unforgettable adventure, Rick will show you historic sites and artifacts, and some of Nature's most special treasures. Our boats are wide beamed for stability, sleek in design with comfortable seating for smooth paddling. We always start with a safety orientation and our record is flawless. Otters, eagles, and porpoises are just some of the animals that delight us as we make our way to one of the island hide-aways for lunch.

Ancient native middens and home sites are just some of the places we visit. You will be enchanted with tales of the early civilizations, about archeology and geology of the region, see, touch, and taste much of what the bay and forest have to offer, and you might even catch your dinner right from your little boat.

Exploring what the intertidal zone has to offer gives us an overview of what the rest of the day has in store. We paddle around the islands, viewing and photographing wildlife on shore and in the water. We are noted for our signature beach soup which our guests help gather edible plants for.
